Privacy Notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679
Dear User,
We would like to inform you that Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, the Regulation”) and related
supplementary Italian legislation establish rules relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the
processing of personal data and protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, and in
particular the right to the protection of personal data. Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the Regulation, we
inform you below of the methods and purposes with which Nardò Technical Center S.r.l. unipersonale, with
registered office in Santa Chiara di Nardò Locality Fattizze (Lecce) 73050 (hereinafter, NTC”, the
Company” or the Controller”), as the data controller of the personal data of users (hereinafter the “Users”)
of the computer application for mobile devices called “NTC Proving Ground”, owned by NTC (the App),
will process your personal data. Please read this privacy notice carefully before providing us with your
personal data.
1. What data are processed and how were my personal data obtained? The personal data that we collect
when you register with the App are your name and surname, your e-mail, the company or entity to which
you belong and/or with which you have a professional relationship and your telephone number.
However, you may be asked to provide additional personal data for the use of third-party services on the
App and that the providers of these services request and process as independent data controllers. We may
also process your personal data contained in communications with NTC, when you decide to contact the
Company through the channels made available by it.
All these data are provided directly by you. The same data listed above will also be communicated to NTC
by the company or entity to which you belong and/or with which you have a professional relationship in
order to allow you to be included in the pre-authorised list of people who can register with the App and use
its services.
2. For what purposes will my personal data be processed? Users' personal data will be processed by the
Company for the following purposes:
a) compliance with contractual obligations (Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation), i.e. to allow the User to
register with the App and to execute NTC’s Terms and Conditions, or to comply with specific
requests of the User, before the finalisation of these Terms and Conditions;
b) compliance with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) of the Regulation), i.e. to comply with obligations
established by law, by a regulation or European legislation;

c) pursuit of a legitimate interest in responding to the questions and requests of Users who contact
the Company, using the contacts published on the App (Article. 6(1)(f) of the Regulation) or to
obtain statistics, also through the use of aggregate data, on the use of the App and the service
and/or to pursue a legitimate interest in exercising or defending a legal claim.
The Company may process Users' personal data, including the IP address and system logs, the way in which
Users browse the App, to pursue its legitimate interest (based on Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation), i.e. to
obtain statistical information, to carry out analysis on the use of the App, or also to improve the User’s
experience and for needs related to the operation and maintenance of the App and the Site. For these
activities, the Company uses the instruments offered by third-party suppliers as processors. The User has
the right to request, at any time, that their data not be processed for tracking purposes in the manner
indicated in paragraph 8 below. The data collected will be kept by the Company for a maximum period of
12 months or for the different period allowed from time to time by the law on privacy. Log data are kept for
a period of 6 (six) months.
3. Is the provision of data compulsory or optional? The provision of personal data for the processing
purposes indicated in the previous point is optional but necessary, since failure to provide the data will make
it impossible for the User to subscribe to the App and to use the App and its related services.
4. How will my personal data be processed and for how long will they be stored? The processing of Users'
personal data will be carried out using manual and computer instruments, with logics strictly related to the
purposes of the processing. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss, unlawful or
incorrect use of, and the unauthorised access to data.
The User's data, collected during registration with the App, will be kept as long as their account remains
active and will be deleted immediately after their account has been closed, unless applicable legislation
requires a longer storage time; in the latter case, we will keep your data for the additional period of time
allowed by applicable law.
5. Who may become aware of my personal data? Employees and/or other external parties working with the
Company in charge of managing and maintaining the App may become aware of Users' personal data. These
parties, who are formally designated by the Company as “authorised to carry out processing”, will process
the User's data exclusively for the purposes indicated in this notice and in compliance with the provisions
of the Regulation.
Third parties who may process personal data on behalf of the Company as “processors” may also become
aware of Users' personal data, such as, by way of example, suppliers of IT and logistics services functional
to the operation of the App, providers of outsourcing or cloud computing services, professionals and

consultants, companies appointed to carry out marketing activities on behalf of the Company. Users have
the right to obtain a list of any processors of the Company, by making a request to the Company in the
manner indicated below.
6. Will my personal data be transferred outside the European Economic Area? No, your personal data will
only be processed within the European Economic Area. However, should it become necessary to transfer
your data outside this area, we undertake to do so in compliance with the provisions of the General Data
Protection Regulation (GDPR). Any transfer of data outside the EEA will be carried out only after the
adoption of appropriate security measures and in accordance with one of the legal bases contemplated in
the GDPR, such as obtaining explicit consent or the adoption of standard contractual clauses approved by
the European Commission. We will make every effort to ensure that your personal data are processed in
accordance with the data protection standards required by European legislation.
7. What are my rights? You may exercise the following rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation,
at any time, free of charge and with no need for specific formalities: the right to request access to your
personal data (i.e. the right to obtain from us confirmation as to whether we are processing your personal
data and, if so, to obtain access to such personal data, by obtaining a copy of them, and to the information
referred to in Article 15 of the Regulation); the right to request the rectification (i.e. the right to obtain the
rectification of inaccurate data concerning you or the right to have incomplete personal data completed) or
the erasure of your personal data (i.e. the right to obtain the erasure of data concerning you, if any of the
grounds indicated in Article 17 of the Regulation applies); or the right to request the restriction of the
processing concerning you (i.e. the right to obtain, in the cases specified in Article 18 of the Regulation, the
marking of the data stored with a view to restricting their processing in the future), as well as the right to
data portability (i.e. the right, in the cases specified in Article 20 of the Regulation, to receive from us, in a
structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, the data concerning you and to transmit such
data to another data controller without hindrance).
We remind you that you have the right, at any time, to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority
(www.garanteprivacy.it) or to such other supervisory authority of the EU Member State where you reside or
work.
8. Does the Regulation also grant me the right to object to processing? You have the right to object at any
time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you
which is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the Regulation.
